OUR HEAD CHEF

Katie Freeman, Head Chef

Chef Katie joins our team with over 25 years of cooking and head chef experience. Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest in a small community that strove for self-sufficiency and community-style living — Katie loves working in a team environment where collaboration and leading by example are two guiding principles. She most recently served as Executive Head Chef at Remington’s and Bar 509 located in Spokane, WA. Katie oversaw 32 employees, developed and implemented two side-by-side menus, managed banquet/catering for small executive lunches to 700-person meals, and ran large-scale service daily. Katie now lives in Sandpoint with her family and loves getting outside and camping.

Every choice we make for sourcing our meals provides an opportunity to do well. We are proud to extend our commitment to source our ingredients locally and regionally. We have recently added a number of local and regional purveyors to ensure our food is supporting local businesses and as fresh as possible.
